The Wetherby shop has both a take-away and a café, however the café is upstairs so it may be better for those with limited mobility to get a takeaway and enjoy this delicious food in the comfort of your own home or if you can’t wait to get home, having them in the car! They always taste better, hot and straight out of the paper!

Located in the Shambles, Wetherby, built in 1811 as shops and later used as a market, Pomfrets serves a range of brunch dishes, sandwiches and homemade cakes. This little gem in the centre of Wetherby is a wonderful café with a charitable heart, having supported local children in need of medical treatment and having employed Ukrainian refugees within their café.

The home of ‘Fresh Yorkshire Gelato’! The milk and cream is produced locally on their own farm and is delivered across Leeds to homes and businesses. As a century-old farm, the Milk Churn originally started by transforming excess milk into gelato. Their ice cream is delicious as are their milkshakes, plus you can also get a range of lunch options and homemade cakes from their cafe. Why not try their scones and jam with fresh cream from the farm! There is a great playground on site plus everyone loves ice cream so there is fun for all the family here! It can get busy however during school holidays though so bear that in mind when planning any trips here. Fun fact: the farm is very environmentally conscious and the cow slurry produced on the farm is used in an anaerobic digester to create electricity for the farm and café!
