We are thrilled to welcome Ágnes Lénárt to the Home Instead Wimbledon and Kingston team as our new Recruitment Manager!

Ágnes brings a wealth of experience, a passion for care, and a heart full of dedication to her role. From her memorable career moments to her love for a busy work environment, Agnes is already making an impact. We sat down with Ágnes to learn more about her and her journey to Home Instead.

What inspired you to become a Recruiter at Home Instead?

I always wanted to move back to care in some way. When I met with Clare, her passion and heart left me no choice! 😊 The Home Instead method, style, and caring approach are new to me, and I already adore them.

What’s a typical day at work like for you?

It starts with my first coffee at home. I love to read my morning emails next to my drama queen cat, Shae. Then, I have time to think of solutions and ideas on the way to work. I thrive in a busy environment but also enjoy having my alone time for calls.

If you were planning a day of self-care for yourself, what would it involve?

A meal at my favourite restaurant, Steins’, in Kingston next to the river. Then, I would go to a thermal spa, watch a theatre show, or take a one-day trip out of London or to Paris.

Can you share a memorable moment or a touching experience you’ve had in your career so far?

I won the Michael Rosen award in 2017 (an award from London’s leading adult social care provider for people with learning disabilities, autistic people, and people with mental health support needs).  I was sure I didn’t have a chance to win, but at the end of the day, I won the Main Award. It was unbelievable.

What’s your go-to method for unwinding after a busy day?

A hot bath followed by some meditation or practicing the Silva Method.

If you could have any superpower to help you in your job, what would it be and why?

To heal people’s body and soul. ❤

What are three things you can’t live without at work?

Communication, a positive attitude, and feedback.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received, and how has it helped you in your career?

Communication is the solution for everything. You don’t always have to agree on everything; differences create new solutions.

For fun: If you could coordinate a care day for any fictional character (or celebrity), who would it be and why?

It’s hard to choose just one! 😊 I love singers who write their own songs. They have talent and creativity that I hope to experience closer. So, Adele, Ed Sheeran, and Taylor Swift are on my list.

Ágnes brings a unique blend of passion, dedication, and innovative thinking to her role as the new Recruitment Manager at Home Instead Wimbledon and Kingston.
