This week we're getting to know our scheduler, Josie!
Scheduling is no mean feat. Organising the team so that our clients receive visits from their regular care professionals at a time they want, and ensuring our care pros get the flexibility and hours they need is a juggling act that needs a cool, calm head and a lot of planning skills! Fortunately, our scheduler Josie takes all this in her stride, and with a smile! With a passion for helping others and a strong desire to give the best possible service and ensure our clients remain happy at home and our care professionals continue to thrive, she works tirelessly to achieve the best results possible. Why work for Home Instead?
I liked the sound of limited Care Professionals per client – meaning more continuity for clients
What made you start a career in care?
I wanted to give the same care my nan received before she passed.
My mum was always in care so she helped me to start
How would you describe your ‘typical’ day at work?
A bit hectic – if the phones go mental. But pretty simple if the calls fit in nicely

Chatting with clients and having a laugh with staff

I enjoy playing PC games and spending time with my family
