Walking for Dementia!

September is World Alzheimer's Month. Our intrepid care professional Paula will be joining forces with her two lovely daughters to raise money, and awareness, for Dementia UK

Paula;s Story

Our amazing Care Professional Paula just can’t sit still! Not content with being a constant source of joy, laughter and support for our clients, our fantastic, friendly colleague has undertaken t6he challenge to walk 30 miles in September for Dementia UK!

Undertaking the task with her are her two lovely daughters Katie and Daisy.

Paula says:

Hello all , myself Katie and Daisy will walk run have fun with this 30 miles in September, I have lost friends to dementia and want to make a difference. I love caring and making my clients happy singing or just being me .

I’m walking 30 miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I’m taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support. Your donation, big or small, makes a difference.

Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK’s free Helpline.

£33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!
