What a Racket!

Home Instead proudly sponsors West Worthing's Racketlon!

We Came, We Saw, We Bought the T-shirts!

We were thrilled to sponsor this year’s racketlon at the West Worthing club!

Our very own manager, Simon Phillips, took part in the annual event with his team ‘Sorely Kneeded’ – named in homage to their determination not to let a few creaky joints get in the way of sporting fun!

We caught up with Simon at the event, in which the teams proudly sported T-shirts bearing the Home Instead logo, an he told us “The racketlon is always a great event. It’s an amazing way to keep active and foster a real sense of community’

A racketlon involves teams competing in a variety of racket-based sports, such as badminton and tennis, in a fun, friendly competition. We all know that exercise, and socialising are fantastic for both physical and mental health. At Home Instead, we’re all about promoting well-being and helping our clients to live their best life, so when we were asked if we would like to fund T-shirts for this year’s players we jumped at the chance to be involved!

The overall winners of the day were The Racketeers!

Simon’s team Sorely Kneeded put in a valiant effort, placing third overall!

Simon says “It was a great day. Fantastic games, wonderful company and a great sense of camaraderie”

Well done, Simon! Here’s to next year!
