Our Care Professionals come from fascinating backgrounds but share one thing in common – they’ve chosen care because they love making a difference in people’s lives. Many of our team can drive, making it easier to enjoy outings or attend local appointments. Each visit lasts at least an hour, giving plenty of time for meaningful activities – whether that’s reminiscence sessions beneficial for those living with dementia, gentle exercise as recommended by healthcare professionals, or simply enjoying hobbies together. We match clients with Care Professionals who share their interests, making every visit something to look forward to.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

Our owner, Simon McGee, started Home Instead after seeing how quality care transformed his grandmother’s life. Under his leadership, our sister office in Chichester achieved an ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating, and we bring these same high standards to our day care service. Every Care Professional completes comprehensive training, including our City & Guilds accredited dementia programme, ensuring they can support clients with various needs, from companionship to more complex support.
Our community connections help make day care more engaging and varied. We run monthly ‘Music & Memories’ events that clients love attending, and our partnership with West Worthing Club creates opportunities for social interaction. Working alongside local physiotherapists and occupational therapists means we can incorporate their recommended exercises into our visits, supporting rehabilitation and maintaining mobility. We’re committed to helping reduce loneliness in our community, one visit at a time.
