The Wrexham & Flintshire East Companionship Care team, here to help every step of the way

Companionship Care has always been at the heart of what we do at Home Instead Wrexham and Flintshire.

Accepting that you need care can be a daunting prospect.  For some clients, the need for additional support may come due to a lack of confidence, perhaps after a fall or having been recently widowed.  Having someone around to offer companionship and support you, even with some of the little things, can be a great source of reassurance.  Many clients start with just a few hours of companionship a week – helping to build up a relationship and getting used to having someone in the home.  This could prove to be invaluable should your needs develop further down the line and extra support is required

Why Companionship Care may be right for you

Our companionship care can provide invaluable social support and engagement and can help give you the confidence to enjoy activities and events in your local community.

Perhaps you have been used to socialising with your spouse, or reduced mobility means that you can no longer drive yourself to your regular groups.  The majority of our Care Professionals are drivers so can assist you with getting back out and about into the local community.  We also have a dedicated Community Engagement Coordinator who can assist with creating a personalised plan  to keep you active and engaged with your hobbies – whether it’s something you have always enjoyed or you want to try something new, it’s never too late!
