Day care should feel natural and enjoyable, which is why we tailor each visit around your interests and routines. Fancy a morning browsing at Bellis Brothers Garden Centre or enjoying lunch at Woodworks Garden Centre in Mold? Perhaps you’d prefer a morning walk around Buckley Common to feed the ducks? For families, this flexible approach means their loved ones stay active and engaged while receiving professional support tailored exactly to their needs.

Day care makes a real difference to both clients and their families. “I cannot fault the care and support Home Instead provide,” shares one daughter. “The girls go above and beyond with the care they provide. Whilst remaining professional at all times, they have such a way with them that they feel like an extended family to us all now.” This natural, family-like approach means clients look forward to their visits, while families have peace of mind knowing their loved one is enjoying meaningful activities with someone they trust.

Our Care Professionals bring both expertise and local knowledge to every visit. Based from our Gresford and Buckley offices, they receive comprehensive training that goes beyond industry standards, including specialist skills in dementia, Parkinson’s and supporting mobility and encouraging independence. Under the family leadership of Matthew and Samantha Murray-James, we ensure our team can support various needs, from companionship to more complex care requirements, making our service a genuine alternative to traditional day centres.
You’ll often find us at community events across the region, from our regular wellbeing sessions at Mold Rugby Club to information stands at the Wrexham Wellbeing Hub. Our Dementia Ambassador, Heather Collin, works closely with local organisations including Age Cymru and the Falls Prevention Team to enhance day support options for our community. Through our ‘Singing for the Brain’ sessions and other initiatives, we create opportunities for clients to stay connected while receiving professional care throughout the day.
