Growing Together: Highlights from Our Care Pro Meeting at Home Instead Yeovil

Discover how we celebrated our dedicated care professionals at the recent Care Pro Meeting in Yeovil.

One Team

At the beginning of this month, we hosted a lively and engaging Care Professional meeting at Home Instead Yeovil, Sherborne & Bridport. It was an opportunity for everyone to come together, learn, and celebrate the incredible work our team does. The theme of the event was purple, in support of World Alzheimer’s Month, and it was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the vital work we do in dementia care in Yeovil.

Staying informed

The senior management team delivered informative sessions on key topics such as business updates, future plans, the upcoming PEAQ (Pursuing Excellence by Advancing Quality) survey, staff wellbeing, dementia training program and essential regulations and policies. In addition, we introduced our new Dementia Guide and dementia-friendly name badges, specifically designed to enhance care for our clients living with dementia.

Celebrating the team

Following these presentations, a Q&A session provided the opportunity for Care Professionals to engage with the leadership team and share feedback. We also celebrated several key achievements, including work anniversaries and Care Pro of the Month awards. Each Care Professional received a thoughtfully prepared gift bag filled with useful items as a token of our appreciation for their dedication and hard work.
